The Golden Chapel, it is a Chapel of the Third Order of S. Francisco, built next to Jesus Cristo Church in 1666, considered a true jewel of national Baroque art.
Its interior is fully decorated with canvases (in the upper part) and tile panels from the 1st half of the 18th century (using high wainscoting), all alluding to scenes from the life of Grand, Franciscan and Poor people, framed by gilded carvings, according to eighteenth-century custom.
The identification of the richly framed canvases, which give the chapel, in conjunction with all the ornate, the idea of a total work, were made by Canon Duarte Dias.

Holy Eucharistic Miracle Church
The Parish Church osf Santo Estêvão dates back to the 13th century.
Currently we find a building from the 16th century with a very simple facade, with interesting Renaissance notes inside.
The whole is a work of great elegance and quality that justifies the presence of this small church in the itineraries of the Renaissance in Santarém.
This temple is also known as The Holy Eucharistic Miracle Church (Igreja do Santíssimo Milagre), a name linked to a religious episode of great devotion that took place in Santarém, in the 13th century, and is still the object of intense veneration in the city.
Since the occurrence of the miracle, this church has been the destination of numerous processions, made by the royal court, or by great personalities of the nobility and clergy, mainly on the pretext of illness, floods, or drought.
